Frequently asked questions
Is the window tinting approved/road-legal? Will it pass the ITV inspection?
Yes, absolutely. All our solar films are fully approved and road-legal. Upon completion, we provide an official certificate of approval and stamp each glass window. With this documentation, you will pass the Spanish ITV inspection without any issues or extra paperwork.
How long does the service take?
Installation time depends on the vehicle type. For a 3-door compact car it usually takes 2 hours, while for larger vehicles (5-door, sedans, or SUVs) it can take up to 3 hours. We will give you an exact timeframe when you drop off the vehicle.
What care instructions should I follow after installation?
To ensure optimal adhesive drying, we recommend not rolling down the tinted windows for 3 days following installation. For interior and exterior cleaning, use a soft microfiber cloth and avoid abrasive products or those containing ammonia.
What does the 10-year warranty cover?
Our 10-year warranty covers any material or installation defects. This includes film peeling, cracking, bubbling, or fading from its original color (turning purple or transparent) due to sun exposure. We guarantee a flawless, long-lasting finish.
Can the front windows (driver and front passenger) be tinted?
Under current Spanish regulations (ITV), tinting front side windows or the front windshield is not permitted, except for very specific legal exemptions (such as certified medical conditions or official security vehicles). Standard service is always applied from the rear seats back.
What happens if my car has thermal heating elements in the rear windshield?
Installation is performed on the inside of the glass, fitting seamlessly over the heating elements (rear defroster). The tint in no way affects the operation of the rear window heater—you can continue using it as normal to defog your rear screen.
